STUNNING DATA ACQUISITION AND ANALYSIS SYSTEM
The acquisition system
GOZLIN ACQ01 has been designed to monitor and keep the stunning process under control so as to determine whether the stunning system is operating correctly during all stages of the process.
GOZLIN ACQ01 includes both hardware and software and fully interfaces with all GOZLIN stunning systems, whether manual or automatic.
OPERATION
The data acquisition system consists of two electronic boards; the mother board records data and hosts the system control logics, whereas the second board sends actual voltage and current data to the mother board.
At the beginning of each individual stunning operation, the board stores date, time, progressive number of stunned animal, duration of the stunning operation and the full information concerning the voltage/current administered to the animal.
When a PC is connected to the board, a graph showing voltage and current versus time based on live information can be displayed for each individual animal.
Data can be grouped by batch number
Alarm thresholds can be set in the board (such as max current, min current, max voltage, min voltage or max stunning time) to trigger a buzzer or warning light when a threshold is exceeded so that the operator can keep the stunning process under control at all times.
All data is recorded in a memory so stored data can be uploaded to a PC's hard disk using a dedicated software.
